2013 DBA
The First Annual Exhibit “Doing Business As… Artist Entrepreneurs” took place in 2009, and was the brainchild of the founding artists, Lee Anna Yater, Virginia Fifield, and Jacklyn Laflamme.
The fifth annual DBA exhibition will take place at Gallery Six in the Broward County Main Library from January 14 – February 27, 2013.
Sculptor, curator, and 2012 AEI graduate Ry Nielsen, is coordinating our 2013 DBA Exhibit, with the generous support of Frank Crowley & JoAnn Nava, who coordinated the 2012 DBA.
Our committed team of Collaborating Artists includes: Susan Clifton, Jim Bobick, Steven Sylvester, Mary Rose Harding, Stacy Daugherty & Ana Ilaurado.
This year we aim to expand the annual AEI event by broadening the scope of the DBA exhibit and featuring a diverse array of artwork by more AEI alumni artists.
The Closing Reception for this exhibition is on Wednesday, February 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and will feature author and artist Brainard Carey as Guest Speaker. Click here to RSVP for the Closing Reception.
